About Us

Fat Quarterly is an e-zine (electronic magazine) for modern sewists, by modern sewists.

Fat Quarterly was started by members of the online modern quilting community to share project ideas and inspiration with other members of the community. New issues of Fat Quarterly are released four times per year, and you can purchase both current and previous issues by visiting our "Buy Now" page. Each issue is chock full of original patterns and project ideas compiled in collaboration with fellow members of the creative community, features of new and upcoming fabric lines, articles about developments in the sewing and quilting industry, and interviews with some of the freshest voices in the community.

The Fat Quarterly team consists of Tacha Bruecher, Brioni Greenberg, John Adams and Lynne Goldsworthy. The four met via various online quilting bees and swaps and shared a common admiration for one anothers' style and aesthetic.
